The abbreviated summer schedule!

If the calendar above is too hard to read simply cut and paste this easy to follow events calender to your desktop. You could even make it your wall paper so you don't miss a thing!


Ryder Richards and Piotr Chizinski June 5-18
-Ryder's Gunpowder drawing demo @ Live on Broadway Saturday 11th (9ish?)
-Piotr and Ryder give artist talks Thursday June 16th @ Yeiser @ 6pm; party for making art to fill the Atomic Art Machine will follow, all supplies provided both events are free and open to the public (will have their work on display during artist talk)

Sketchaholics will be at Live on Broadway. Artists are welcome to come and set up and draw models. 

Sketchaholics will have a closed door drawing session upstairs at Shandies; all artists are welcome, cost is $10 to enter, fees are used to pay the model 6pm-9pm.

Kimberly Rumfelt and Brianna Burnett June 25-July 4
-Artist of the month wall opening coincides with the Paducah Photo opening
-Artist talk at Yeiser on June 28th @ 6pm. 

Jamie Spinello and Kristin VanPatten July 1 - July 17
-Exhibition opening during Second Saturday @ Studio Mars July 9, artist talk at 6; reception 6-8pm  
(Jamie has expressed interest in hosting  a workshop but has not confirmed dates. Will announce upon receiving)

Tiny Art Making Party for filling the Atomic Art Machine Saturday July 16 @ Yeiser @ 7 -9 pm (coincides with Live on Broadway)

Susan Maakestad July 17 - 31
-Artist talk and exhibition of work at Yeiser July 30th @ 6pm.

Lauren Scanlon Aug 1 - Aug 24
-artist talk at Yeiser on Thursday August 19, 6pm

Ryder Richards and Piotr Chisinski Gunpowder Burn Art

Ryder Richards and Piotr Chizinski will be performing a gunpowder burn demonstration at "Live on Broadway" this Saturday June 11th at 9pm in Paducah KY.
This Paducah Arts Alliance performance will definitely leave a mark!

Jui Mhatre Performance

Jui performed this choreographed dance while completing her two part residency in Lowertown Paducah on June 3rd 2011. Jui states this dance pays homage to the gods Shiva and Ganesh while allowing her to narrate a story through movement, hand gestures, and slight eye glaces.
